Born and raised in Puerto Rico, I came of age creatively in Santurce, one of the island’s most active artistic hubs. I’m now based between Puerto Rico and New York, where I study and continue developing my practice as a filmmaker and multidisciplinary artist.

I’ve spent years writing stories with a simple but demanding goal: to evoke in others what a film, an image, or a text once evoked in me. My work is shaped by questions of identity, displacement, and colonial legacy, approaching these themes through intimate, character-driven narratives rather than spectacle.

From shooting 35mm photography to directing and crafting sensitive stories, I’m interested in how the specific can become universal. At 20 years old, my practice continues to move between film, writing, and visual art, always searching for emotional truth and honest ways of looking.
