I’m Isaí, a filmmaker and multidisciplinary artist from Puerto Rico, based between Puerto Rico and New York.
I work in filmmaking, photography, and writing, focusing on realism, memory, and stories shaped by everyday experience.

I write in service of invisible art — work shaped in silence, sustained by friendship, and made out of love.
When I’m not writing, operating camera, or directing, I collaborate across different creative fields. I work as an art assistant on audiovisual productions, do color grading for video, and develop mixed-media projects that combine collage and image-making. I’m also involved in Spanish-language book editing, supporting projects that live between film, text, and visual art.
La Corteza
La Corteza is a short experimental film that follows an artist in the process of creating an image. Moving between moments of action and pause—painting, smoking, thinking—the film stays close to the inner rhythm of the artist’s mind.
Rather than telling a narrative, La Corteza is driven by image, music, and atmosphere. It explores creation as a mental and emotional space, where gestures, silences, and waiting become part of the work itself.
Pana ProductionsPana Productions is a collective founded by friends, built around the belief that art is best made and shared among people who care for one another. The collective develops audiovisual and multidisciplinary projects, grounded in collaboration, trust, and long conversations.
Pana Productions is currently in production on a documentary and in pre-production on two short films slated for 2026.
